What we do
Working downspouts are what direct rainwater away from the foundation and prevent moisture problems. We install new downspouts, repair and reconnect existing ones, and add extensions and splash blocks so the water ends up where it should.
We assess the property to find the right placement and design, taking slope, drainage patterns and landscaping into account. New or repaired, the goal is a system that handles the heaviest Florida rain without dumping it next to the house.
A long gutter run with one outlet overflows in a Florida storm no matter how clean it is. We size and count the downspouts to the roof area feeding each run, and place them where the ground actually falls away from the house.
A downspout that ends at the wall just moves the problem to the footing. Extensions and splash blocks carry water clear of the foundation; where the yard needs it, we tie downspouts into a buried drain or a French drain so the water goes somewhere useful.

It depends on the roof area feeding each gutter run and how much rain it has to move. Long runs with a single outlet overflow in a Florida storm. We count and place them for the roof, not for convenience.
A single downspout replacement is typically $100 to $200. Estimates are free and on site.
Add an extension or splash block to carry the water clear, or, where the yard needs it, tie the downspout into a buried drain or French drain so the water is carried away.
Yes. We refasten it to the gutter outlet and the wall, replace crushed sections, and check the outlet is clear and draining.
