Ricky’s Gutters LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”) runs rickysgutters.com. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you visit the site and, in particular, when you send a quote request. If you do not agree with it, please do not submit the form.

1. What we collect

When you send a quote request we collect the details you type in: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the service you are asking about, and any message you add. We also record the page the request came from, the time, and the internet address it was sent from, which helps us spot spam.

2. How we use it

Solely to give you the estimate you asked for. That means contacting you about the request by call, text or email, scheduling a visit, and sending you the written price. We do not add you to a marketing list.

3. The cookie that remembers your request

After you send a request, the site sets one cookie, rg_request, so the form can tell you it already has your request instead of showing a blank form the next time you visit. It stores your first name, the service you asked about, your ZIP code, the date, and a reference number. It does not store your phone number or email. It expires after 180 days, and you can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

4. Analytics and advertising

The site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how it is used (pages visited, general location, device type), and Google Ads and Nextdoor conversion tags so we can tell whether our advertising led to a request. These services may set their own cookies. They do not receive the details you type into the form. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, and limit ad personalisation in your Google and Nextdoor account settings.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. The only exceptions are the services that help us run the site and the business, such as our email provider, which handle it only on our behalf and under confidentiality.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, quote requests are delivered to us by encrypted email, and the form has protections against automated submissions. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you send us.

7. Your choices

8. Consent

By sending a quote request you consent to us collecting, using and sharing your information as described here.

9. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in how the site works or in the law. The effective date at the top tells you when it last changed.
